She's more beautiful without extreme distortion of 1.3 mega pixels, and simply in real life.

I believe it.

woah do you need that powerful computer for music or do you play video games? (:

There are no games on my computer. Zero. I plan on buying Diablo 3 when it does get released. But other than that the new computer is for music production only.

-Gravey-

wait.. did you just clean out a crapload of your '09 songs? what happened to 3010 AD? 0_e

Yep. I send Tom Fulp a message asking him to delete everything but my two orchestral themes and A Piano's Testimony as well, since I can't delete them myself. I made a news post about it a while back so everyone would know.

-Gravey-

D:
why did you delete all your 09 subbmisions.I loved the song Collateral Groove.

I made a news post a while back letting everyone know I would be deleting all of my old songs. I left it up for over a month so everyone would see it and download any song they song they wanted to have.

-Gravey-

can you at least resubmit collateral groove?pleeeeeeee(77 years later)eeeeeeease?

Sorry, but no.

Sir Gravey, I have a doubt: imagine I want to use "Orcuviathan the Tomb Shaker" (one of the deleted songs) in a flash? Do I have to pay for it, or should I just credit you?

Is it a commercial project (one in which you make money on through ad revenue or charging people to watch/use), or is it a non-commercial (no revenue being made) project?

If it is a non-commercial project all you need to do is credit me as the artist. If it is a commercial project I ask for a small fee for songs like Orcu since I didn't technically make it for a particular flash. I charge more for audio I write specifically for flashes.

Does that answer your question? If you need further clarification feel free to send me a personal message or respond here in this news post.

-Gravey-

Ah, I see. It's a non-commercial flash, so I shouldn't have any problems with the cops. Thank you.

No problem. I would love to see the project you are working when it is finished. :-)

Great set up mate and I do enjoy your music a lot. I love orchestral tracks and anything related. I listen to X-Ray Dog and Immediate Music Abbey. Have you gottet than gear legally?

I've got Eastwest Quantum Leap Gold Edition, Eastwest Stormdrum, Truepianos an Edirol Orchestral. I'm trying to improve my compositions, that's why I'm doing the Music Technology course and I would also like to get some piano lessons and buy an electronical keyboard and then master Cubase 5. Good luck on your music though!

Thanks a lot. EastWest really makes a lot of great products. I'm planning on getting a lot of CineSamples and Tonehammer sample libraries to use as supplemental gear with my EastWest stuff. I know that Drums of War is a great product to get to go with EastWest Symphonic Gold.

After that I plan on getting Electri6ity most likely. But that is a long ways off into the future at the moment.

I've been debating on getting a different DAW myself. Cubase and Reason being the two I'm looking at primarily. So let me know how Cubase works for ya. Always nice to hear what others think about products before buying. My first choice of DAW would be Pro-Tools, I am not ready to spend the money for the hardware to run Pro-Tools in a professional setting.

Meh, you delete all song because they're not ''popular'' enough. Don't even give a thought about your listeners opinions. Like your old songs ''Acoustic fun'' ''Mongolian banjo man'' You just deleted them and now they are gone forever. THAT'S LOW! LOW!

The songs I deleted had nothing to do with their popularity. In fact, a couple of them that I deleted were nearly my most popular songs. I deleted them because they did not represent who I am as a composer.

When I wrote those old songs I was doing so on a pc that had been on its last leg for nearly eight years. It never ran right, and thus limited the ability to do anything with my music. If I loaded up more than one half decent vst, such as Edirol or Nexus, it would freeze or crash. I couldn't even run my EastWest or Kontakt libraries at all on my old pc because it was such junk.

On top of that I did not have any decent gear before. I was stuck using total garbage like Directwave and really junky sound fonts. Sound fonts are fine if you have a decent enough pc to make them sound good. When using sound fonts you have to do a ton of work to get them to sound half decent, such as adding EQ, reverb, compression, and a multitude of other effects processors. My old pc was not capable of that so all of my old music sounded like garbage.

Also, I was recently signed by a label and it goes without question that I am first and foremost responsible to them and making sure my music is of the highest standard. As I pointed out above my old music was not of that standard due to many reasons. Thus why the songs could not be left up on this site. Plus I might be able to sell the rights to them to make a little money. And if that happens legally I would be required to take them down.

Lastly I did think of my listeners. I made a news post and left it up here on my page for well over a month that I was going to be deleting music. And therefore everyone who would want those songs should download them as soon as possible. If you did not see the news post I'm sorry. But if you don't stop by at least once in a month long period, I don't see how you could be so upset that some songs were gone. Because obviously you weren't listening to them that often.

I did my best to make sure everyone knew that I would be deleting songs. I send out private messages all the time to people with updates, and I am very thoughtful to respond to all private messages sent to me and to all reviews left on my songs. I am only one man. I can't literally makes sure that every single person has seen every single aspect of my Newgrounds community life. I don't have time nor the energy to do that. But in my defense I can certainly say I do far more to interact with my listeners than many other popular artists on Newgrounds.

I do the best that I can. Sorry if that displeases you.

-Gravey-

I want my own school of fish following me around as groupies like that jellyfish has!

-Gravey-

why did you delete Word Theme 1?
It was good.
:C
One more question. Are you ever going to keep your music on here?

Extenuating circumstances forced it's deletion. I apologize. Do not fear, more music is on it's way in the near future. :-)

And yes. All music that is up at this time will continue to be up in the future.

-Gravey-

You can upload your old music in a separate archive (just arrange them in years (2007, 2008, etc)). Not only can you impress others with your current music, you can impress them even more by showcasing how much you have improved over the years. I'm more interested in seeing improvement than seeing current work. =o

Sort of like this, but with your music.

To be honest I have no need, nor interest in archiving my old music. It was all poor quality and not anything that I would be proud to share.

-Gravey-

I mean... HOLY SHIT xD
You're the quintessence of sampled orchestral music. Respect, buddy
KKS

Haha! Thanks.

-Gravey-

OMFG!
Your new song has score rank #1!

Lol! That is bound to change for sure. :-P
